Gender Equality

Liberia’s exhibition celebrates the impactful contributions of Liberian women to peace, development, democracy, agriculture, eco-tourism, sanitation, education, and fisheries. The pavilion features a forest-inspired design with wooden animals, tribal masks representing the 17 ethnic groups, traditional sangba drums, and a 104-year-old bronze antique symbolizing the legacy of a renowned Liberian king and his empire. It also highlights the nation’s rich natural resources, offering visitors a glimpse into Liberia’s tropical rainforests, vibrant cultural heritage, and diverse investment and business opportunities.

TOURISM

Liberia’s tourism strategy aligns with modern trends, such as sustainable tourism, cultural heritage tourism, adventure tourism, and wellness tourism. Imagine relaxing on Liberia’s untouched beaches, exploring its dense rainforests, or discovering its historic landmarks like Providence Island. Liberia’s natural beauty and history make it a perfect destination for tourism investment.

Education

Liberia’s young population is its greatest asset. Building better schools, training teachers, and investing in technology can prepare the next generation for success. Vocational training programs can give youth the skills they need to thrive in agriculture, technology, and more.

Trade

Liberia’s location on the West African coast makes it a gateway for regional and international trade. From exporting rubber, timber, cocoa, coffee to improving shipping infrastructure like the Freeport of Monrovia, Liberia is open for business and trade partnership.

Arts & Crafts

Liberia’s handwoven textiles, wooden carvings, and colorful beadwork tell stories of resilience and creativity. Supporting local artisans or exporting their crafts can connect Liberia to global markets while empowering communities. Imagine the world falling in love with “Made in Liberia” products!

Agriculture

Liberia’s fertile land is perfect for farming rice, cassava, cocoa, and coffee. Modern farming methods and investments in agribusiness can boost local food production and create export opportunities. Agriculture isn’t just about feeding people; it’s about building an economy from the ground up.

ARREST Agenda Message

This is a defining moment for our nation. The ARREST Agenda represents a comprehensive strategy to address critical challenges such as food insecurity, inadequate access to essential services, governance issues, and economic stagnation.

Together, we will transform Liberia into a nation that offers hope, prosperity, and equality for all.

The ARREST Agenda focuses on six key development drivers:

Agribusiness, which boosts food security and creates sustainable jobs;

Roads and Infrastructure, enhancing connectivity and economic access;

Rule of Law and Governance, strengthening institutional trust and
combating corruption;

Education and Human Capital Development, empowering Liberians,
especially our youth, with the skills and knowledge they need to succeed;

Sanitation, ensuring access to clean water and improving public health;

and Tourism, leveraging Liberia’s natural beauty and cultural heritage to diversify our economy.

Liberia’s development is a collective responsibility. The success of the ARREST Agenda depends on how well we work together, use our limited resources effectively, and remain accountable to our citizens.

To our young people, you are the enablers of change. We are committed to equipping you with the tools to lead our country into a brighter future.
Let us dare to THINK LIBERIA, LOVE LIBERIA, AND BUILD LIBERIA!
